Welcome Anon, you’ve found your way to our quarterly update where we will discuss some of they key turning points of the Anon NFT’s and their ecosystem along with some changes to the brand, website and much much more. You may want to read closely within this paper to catch pieces of alpha!

Background & Introduction [1]
If you haven’t been following the Anon Club and its relevant projects in recent times then there is a little you need to be updated on, We have made some key changes in the vision and pathway of the 888AC project which are vital for you to understand and acknowledge.
Previously the Anon Club brand was built on the vision of its future utilities, leaving little room for brand expansion and capitalization. This format for NFT projects at the time has seen great expansion with utility access cards becoming very popular on marketplaces like Magic Eden in recent times however community building around the Artwork and Brand of those projects doesn’t seem to align with our vision for where ‘The Anon Club’ should be heading and placing itself in the market.
It is a clubhouse after all, a collective of exclusive members who all resonate with the project and its brand vision. When surveying the market and looking at ways to model the future of this project and to ensure growing recognition of the artwork and what it represents we looked outwards.
Becoming a Brand — Inspiration from DeGods, Degen Ape Academy [2]
We wanted ‘The Anons’ to feel like a true ‘Bluechip Brand’, a notable market reference for all of those interested in Non-Fungible Tokens. And for that a few key pieces of the project needed to adapt. If we look outward at the market at what we would call ‘Brand NFTs’ very few stand out and seem to have the artwork and capacity to achieve such growth. Our key references for this article will be DeGods and Degen Ape Academy which are both notable collections on the Solana Blockchain. Lets take a look at how these collections are setup and some of the key benefits ‘The Anons’ could be absorbing.
DeGods — A Collection by Frank
DeGods has shown what clean execution of simple blockchain principles can look like all tied together with wonderful artwork that its community can really get behind and resonate with the character portrayed. Sometimes it is better for projects not to make extravagant claims but to execute with beauty which is something i personally (nico) believe frank has followed thoroughly.
The Premise behind DeGods is simple, it is a deflationary collection that either requires stake-locked earnt $DUST or DeGods burnt $DUST to purchase exclusive brand content, access future NFT upgrades and to purchase community determined 3rd party NFT’s. This model keeps things very internal while also ensuring a steady value accrual to the brand itself. This is something we have taken notes on while observing.
We See $DUST as a foundation layer in which Frank & The DeGods community are able to build on and contribute to in order to grow the brand’s value in a bottom-up decentralized manner.
Degen Ape Academy — A Collection by Monolith
Degen Ape Academy has long stood its place as a premier IP project built on the Solana Blockchain, Monoliff has done an amazing job of truly bringing the ‘Crypto Ape’ spirit to life with some extremely high quality 3D renderings which act as the PFP and token membership to the academy. We could say these Ape’s are metaverse ready given that their base format is 3D another massive forward thinking move from Monoliff given the move in market attention to the growing metaverse sentiment.
We are heavily inspired by the cleanliness, simplicity and model styling of these apes, they just stand out so well! So we just had to keep this as a key in mind when working towards re-modelling the ‘Anon Brand’ and picking the direction in which to steer the IP.
Evolving Artwork — An Overhaul of Anon IP [3]
Now that the Anons have established themselves as a community that is here to stay on the Solana Blockchain we only see it fit to completely up the level of quality within the project. Since inception the Anons have steadily accrued natural community sentiment and held strong value across its varying marketplaces something we are extremely proud of but never mention. Remember rule #1 about Anon Club is we never talk about the FP!
Levelling up a project to become a brand takes some serious considerations, you must first consider relevancy and attractiveness of the brand to potential new-comers and then you must consider brand retention for those that get involved and become a part of the Community. These are two key factors we are focused on making sure we get correct in this overhaul.
📣 From Pixel to Perfect we’re extremely excited to announce to you that we have started a complete 3D overhaul of the Anon NFT’s ✨👑
Now feast your eyes anon, we’ve gotten serious about this artwork upgrade and we are going all out to create some of the coolest Profile Pictures' on Solana. This is just the first step in taking ‘The Anons’ to the next level and providing a truly rewarding community experience for our holders.
We are actively writing a proposal to The Anon DAO to propose going CC0 (Creative Commons 0) and giving the licensing of the Artwork to the DAO in its entirety.
On-Chain Governance is Live — Community Governance via Squads [4]
We have been working closely with the Squads team to get our discord proposals on-chain. A decentralized community should have a decentralized decision making platform available and this launch of Squads will help to do exactly that. As of Today you can head on over to Squads and if you currently hold an 888AC NFT then you have access to on-chain voting!
We will be labelling on-chain proposals as ‘Anon Community Proposal (ACP#0)’ whereby these decisions aren’t directly tied to any notional treasury value that the project may hold. This is for Community governance and suggestions only and we are encouraging free use of the proposal feature so long as they are meaningful and well written. We are monitoring these proposals to find members we may be interested in bringing into the council.
Examples include: Creating a proposal to spend some treasury value outsourcing some work, Create a proposal to amend project roadmap/vision, Create a proposal to create more NFT’s etc.
Please note that in the future the Anon DAO will have both a treasury and proposals you can make to deploy parts of this native treasury. For now this will remain under the multi-sig trust it currently lays in.
Governance is a major part of any web3 project and we are actively encouraging all of our users to take part. For those of you who were not around during the launch stage of this project, we are actually built and launched via community decisions so lets keep that going!
Changing Interfaces — A New Website & Design Ethos [5]
As previously stated this project was built on community governance. We were the first NFT project on Solana to launch with a community governed vote meaning that all of our mint parameters were decided by the community through a series of polls. We take each and every suggestion by the members of the club seriously and with a high level of consideration. For this reason due to community suggestions and feedback we are evolving our Website!
Previously it was felt that although the previous update to our website looked great, it wasn’t intuitive and didn’t directly put you where you wanted to be. We modelling our new Design Ethos around this feedback and building on the Yami ethos of absolute ease of use. Plus we think this new look is really on brand and really sets the vibe of the project.
We’ve really been inspired by the simplicity of some of the top NFT projects websites across the web and taken many design notes from each of them. No more confusion anon its time to get serious. We’re planning to release this new website soon so keep your eyes peeled for the announcement anon!
Future Features — What are the plans? What can Anons expect? [6]
In this section we’re going to cover some of the new features and plans we are aiming to complete and some in which you can expect in the near term as an Anon NFT holder. We’re really excited to start releasing some of these as pre-requisites start to be completed such as the artwork upgrade.
Entangler: When the time comes you will get the chance to upgrade your previous pixel anon to a completely overhauled 3D anon avatar! In this upgrade will include the change in metadata which will reflect Royalties directly going to the DAO and the Artist.
Will go live when artwork is new NFT’s are complete.
The Terminal: The terminal is a key part of the Anon experience, it is the computer you see at the doors to the clubhouse and within its filesystem are some secrets to find and codes to crack, maybe you stumble across some documents before anyone else.. Furthermore the terminal is also used to enter the Anon Clubhouse and access its internal features.
The terminal will go live very shortly after the new website launch.
Staking Anons: You may have noticed in the website preview above there is a Staking option in the menu. This is no mistake, we told you we were inspired by the foundation that $DUST has created. The Anon Ecosystem will have its own Token with unique to brand mechanisms that we believe our community will love.
Estimated launch for Anon Staking is post launch of upgraded NFT’s and Treasury initialization.
Anon Archives: We are going to be one of the first NFT projects to write its history onto its native blockchain. The Anon Club is going to actively produce 1/1 representations of active and notable community members and people who contribute to the project. We believe this is an important step in building community and a sense of brand history on-chain. These 1 of 1 pieces will be available for auction in the Anon Archives.
This NFT is a representation of a notable moment in Anon history where a member of the community with high conviction in the project lost control of his wallets due to exploits in dApps he had interacted with, a lesson in history for all Anons.
$SHDW Overdrive: The Anons will need to use their resources from Staking to unlock ‘Shadow Overdrive’ a staking mechanism which allows Anons to earn $SHDW from the Anon Shadow Drive Node. It makes sense for an anonymous club to create as much Shadow as possible.
Shadow Overdrive is a feature based on the future ability to contribute node space to the GenesysGo Shadow Drive. Rewards or earnings will be reliant on their parameters. This feature is not set in stone and also relies on the plans of GenesysGo.
For now these features represent the set vision for the Anon Club over the remainder of 2022. Although we may introduce more novel functionality and additional pieces to the brand throughout this time. All features you have read above will be coming to you as soon as we can do so, with the exception of the Shadow Overdrive being reliant on GenGo.

How does ‘Governance’ work?
Think of Governance as a simple democratic vote on a written proposal by a member of the community. We decide together the future of the project.
When will there be Staking?
We’re simply waiting to upgrade both our website & artwork before we can launch our Staking Interfaces. Its gonna be a busy month!
What will i receive for Staking?
As part of staking your Anon NFT you will receive the Anon Club native ecosystem token. We will write a separate shorter article on this in the coming future.
What can i do with this token?
The Anon native token will be used for many things however some early utility will be to purchase exclusive pieces from the Archives. Exclusive limited run merchandise auctions and much more. It may also have something to do with the Shadow Drive in the future ;)
Can we have some details about the token?
Okay, just for you Anons who read all the way down here. It will be a hard capped deflationary token with a sub 1 million supply. It can only be produced via Staking and supply will start at 0.
Is this token affiliated with Yami?
No, the Anon native ecosystem token will not be affiliated in any way to the Yami Finance project. It is designed to be an NFT ecosystem token with no monetary value.
Do we still get to stake for $YAMI in the future?
Yes, absolutely.
How do i use the Terminal?
This one is pretty simple, the terminal is simply a mini computer in your browser than you can tell commands to. For example try out the ‘anon’ command.
How do i get into the Anon Archives?
By being an active community member, helping to expand the brand and social awareness of the Anon Club or even contributing artwork, code and so much more.
Are you partnered with GenesysGo?
No, we’re not currently affiliated in any way with GenesysGo other than utilizing their free RPC services.
